Smartform Racing Database
The Smartform Racing Database provides historic results for UK and Irish racing, as well as daily racecard data, updated automatically each day. All the fields available are described in the tables and field layout.
The database can be used to automate any number of tasks, such as
- Researching winning methods and testing for profitability
- Creating speed and handicap ratings
- Generating system selections for upcoming races in UK and Ireland for backing, laying or trading purposes.
- Creating custom daily racecards with oddslines and/or ratings
- Download example racecard ratings from yesterday's racing
7 years’ historic data for research and analysis
The Smartform Racing Database comes with 7 years’ horseracing results data for the UK and Ireland. All the data is licenced from original sources for the personal use of subscribers.
On subscribing, seven years’ worth of full racing results, containing all UK and Irish racing, are within the Form download and available for use in MySQL.
Daily results and racecards
An automated update service is provided for the database by monthly subscription. The update contains the day’s full results for horseracing in the UK and Ireland as well as final racecards for the next day’s racing. The results update builds automatically on the existing database and ensures the SmartForm database is always current for the next day’s racing.
All daily racecards for the next day’s racing are also provided within the updates service, so that utilities, systems, ratings etc. can be run against each race as the bettor requires.
