Smart Markets
Smart Markets is an automated Daily Service which provides 1 to 2 selections per race meeting (on average) in advance of racing, spotting horses that are quietly fancied to win at early prices.
The Smart Markets programs use a combination of factors to identify significant early market activity along with reasonable winning potential. We also try to avoid obvious 'steamers' (ie. horses whose prices significantly contract prior to racing, whose 'value' has often gone). This means that good (or better) prices than those advised can often be obtained when the on-course market opens, 10 minutes or so prior to the off. Smart Markets selections generally present good trading opportunities as well as backing opportunites in their own right.
Selections are made available from 1 pm each day, with the earliest races advised from 1.25 pm onwards to allow time to get on.
